The KA Pro Player Programme 2026 (“Programme”) is organised by KA Sports (Pvt) Ltd (“KA Sports”). By applying for, purchasing or accepting a package under the Programme, the player—and the player’s parent or legal guardian where the player is under 18, agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
Programme Period
The Programme is valid until 31 October 2026, unless extended, suspended or withdrawn earlier by KA Sports in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
All packages are subject to availability.
Eligibility
The Programme is available only to eligible elite school cricketers and professional first-class players approved by KA Sports.
KA Sports may request reasonable evidence of the player’s identity, age, school, club, team, playing level or registration before approving an application.
Participation is subject to the final approval of KA Sports. Approval of one player does not guarantee approval of another player.
Players under 18 must obtain the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Available Packages
The Programme includes selected KA Pro Season and KA Elite Season packages, including women-specific packages where advertised.
The applicable package contents, retail value, player price and saving will be those stated in the relevant official KA Sports advertisement or written order confirmation.
Personal Use Only
Packages are offered exclusively for the approved player’s individual cricketing use.
Packages and individual items may not be transferred, resold, commercially distributed or purchased on behalf of another person without the prior written approval of KA Sports.
No package item or benefit may be exchanged for cash.
Full-Season KA Commitment
The special player price is offered in consideration of the player’s commitment to use KA-branded match and training equipment throughout the agreed cricket season.
This requirement applies to the categories of equipment supplied by KA Sports under the package, including bats, batting gloves, leg guards and kit bags, where applicable.
The player must not conceal, remove or replace KA branding or display competing branding on KA equipment.
The applicable season and commitment period will be confirmed when the player enrols in the Programme.
Injury, non-selection or the cancellation of a tournament will not automatically constitute a breach, provided the player has not represented a competing equipment brand during the commitment period.
Women-Specific Equipment
Where a women-specific package is selected, KA Sports will provide gloves and leg guards in available sizes designed to offer a more suitable fit for women cricketers.
Players are responsible for confirming the fit before using the equipment. Size exchanges remain subject to stock availability and the exchange conditions stated below.
Prices and Payment
All prices are stated in Sri Lankan Rupees and include only the items expressly listed in the applicable package.
An order is confirmed only after full payment has been received, unless KA Sports agrees to a different payment arrangement in writing.
The Programme cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, voucher, sponsorship benefit or discount unless expressly approved in writing by KA Sports.
Availability and Substitutions
All products, models, colours, sizes and specifications are subject to availability.
If an advertised item is unavailable, KA Sports may offer an item of comparable value or specification. Any material substitution will be communicated to the player before the order is completed.
Images used in promotional material are illustrative. Minor differences in colour, finish, branding placement and appearance may occur without affecting the product’s intended performance.
Bat Selection and Natural Variations
Cricket bats are made from natural materials. Grain structure, shade, weight distribution, profile and appearance may vary between bats.
Where available, the player may inspect or approve the selected bat before delivery. Natural cosmetic variation alone will not be considered a manufacturing defect.
Collection and Delivery
Collection or delivery arrangements will be confirmed separately.
The player must inspect the package upon receipt and report any missing, incorrect or visibly damaged item to KA Sports within 48 hours, together with the invoice and supporting photographs where applicable.
Exchanges and Returns
Size exchanges may be accepted subject to stock availability, proof of purchase and the item being unused, unwashed, unaltered and returned with its original packaging and labels.
Customised, prepared, knocked-in, used or player-selected bats cannot be returned or exchanged due to a change of preference, except where the product has a verified manufacturing defect or where otherwise required by applicable law.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, incorrect maintenance and unauthorised alterations are not treated as manufacturing defects.
Warranty
All warranty and replacement requests are subject to inspection by KA Sports and the applicable product warranty.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under Sri Lankan law.
Breach of Player Commitment
If a player deliberately breaches the full-season KA commitment, misuses the Programme or provides false information, KA Sports may:
terminate the player’s participation in the Programme;
withdraw any undelivered Programme benefits;
refuse future discounted or player-programme applications; and
take any other reasonable action permitted under the player’s written agreement and applicable law.
KA Sports will notify the player and provide a reasonable opportunity to respond before making a final decision, except in cases involving fraud or serious misuse.
Branding and Promotional Content
Participation in the Programme does not automatically grant KA Sports unrestricted rights to use the player’s name or image.
Any promotional appearance, testimonial, photograph, video or social-media obligation must be separately agreed with the player in writing. For players under 18, parent or legal guardian consent is required.
Modification or Withdrawal
KA Sports reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend or withdraw the Programme due to stock limitations, operational requirements, regulatory requirements or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Any change will apply prospectively and will not reduce the confirmed package contents or price of a fully paid order without the player’s agreement, except where a change is required by law.
Limitation of Responsibility
KA Sports will not be responsible for delays or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including supplier delays, transport disruption, natural disasters, government restrictions or other force-majeure events.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Data and Privacy
Information submitted for Programme eligibility, payment, sizing, delivery and communication will be used only for administering the Programme, fulfilling the order, maintaining business records and complying with legal obligations.
General Conditions
Failure by KA Sports to enforce any provision immediately does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.
If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
