Founded by Amila Kalugalage — a long-time cricket insider and agent to some of Sri Lanka’s top players — KA was born out of a simple but powerful truth: in cricket, batting gear has always been built for batters. Bowlers? They’ve had to make do.

But bowlers win matches — not just with the ball, but with the bat too.
Their arms, fingers, and legs take a beating.
They often face the fiercest spells, and then walk in to bat with everything on the line.
Yet for years, they’ve been handed gear that wasn’t made for them.

That’s where KA comes in.

The name “KA” stands for Kalugalage Amila. But it’s also a tribute to Amila’s father, Dhanasiri Kalugalage — the man whose belief and sacrifice made everything possible.
